How it works
Protect a photo in a few simple steps, without sending it to a server.
1. Choose a photo
Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP file from your device. BLURIT opens and validates the image locally in your browser.
2. Choose what to protect
A browser-based detector finds faces and blurs them automatically. Choose blur or pixelation, adjust its strength, and click a face rectangle to toggle its blur. To hide anything else, such as a number plate or document, choose "Draw area" and draw over it yourself; BLURIT does not detect these automatically. The preview updates as you make changes.
3. Download your photo
When the live preview looks right, download the blurred photo directly to your device. Always review the image for missed faces before sharing it.
Face detection can miss faces or select an incorrect area. BLURIT is a privacy aid, not a guarantee that every sensitive detail has been removed.
